Off-Grid System
An off-grid system is for those that cannot get electric service to their home, or who are looking for the ultimate independence from being tied to the larger system. These systems operate fully independent and can incorporate battery backup and generator connection for consistent electric supply even at night or long winder days.
Battery Back up
Battery back up can work with both grid-tied and off-grid. It gives the ability for a system to store extra energy during sunlight hours for use when needed. They can be configured in many ways to meet your unique needs.
Grid-Tied System
A grid-tied system is as simple as it sounds. Your solar array is connected to an inverter that feeds into the electric power grid in your region. You are then able to provide the grid with solar energy and pull from the grid when your array is not producing. This is the simplest and most affordable solar set up.
